Yeah, that's pretty accurate, there's a reason the only comics icon I have is the kickass X-Men one above (Even though I have no idea what/where "whiz-bang gang from uptown" is from, I love the way it rolls off the tongue. Try saying it a few times.) Angst? Yep. Interpersonal Conflict? Yes, with most of it at least partially of my own devising. Faster paced and more ethnically diverse? Did I mention I live in Vancouver?!? And the only DC character I really have any time for is Batman (You suck if you haven't seen Dark Knight yet), he's the only one in that 'verse that seems remotely real.
